A trip back in time to hear the finest vocal music recorded. Doo-wop at it's best. Presenting the forgotten third of rock an roll. Vocal group R&B of the forties, fifties and early sixties. Rare recordings and the hits that were and will always be. Songs of life from a past generation that is still relevant today with an infectious beat and sometimes a tongue in cheek look at life, or a tug at the heart strings with the  finest "slow smooth and easy " ballads ever recorded. From a time and  life so much simpler than today.  Melbournes only dedicated DOO-WOP show, crazy name but the finest of R&B vocal group music. Have a listen and l am sure that the doo-wop will put "the smile on the dial" and "the glide in the stride'. So get up and dance cats and kittens, guys and gals. It's Maltshophop time........

Also presented every week are to GOLDEN AGE gospel tracks from the legends of gospel groups and some more obscure groups. There is also the occasional trip back to the gospel of the 30's and the 50's. A weekly JUBILEE track from the swinging jumping swing/jive groups of the 20's to the 50's. This includes the incredible HUMAN ORCHESTRAS. We also have amazing ACAPELLA from the fifties to today. Requests are always welcome as long as they are in the style or we will fill in a gap for you , just give us a theme.
