The Easey Street Sessions

PBS 106.7FM is an iconic music station with a proud 29 year history of broadcasting a wide range of music seldom heard elsewhere – gospel, reggae, blues, country, jazz, soul, rock, metal, electronic, hip hop, world and film soundtracks, just to name a few.

From the very start, PBS led the way for all Melbournians to experience live music with broadcasts out the back of the Prince of Wales in St Kilda. Artists included Nick Cave, Men at Work and Art Pepper just to name a few. Today, taking place in PBS' famous Studio 5, The Easey Street Sessions (formerly known as Studio 5 Live) continues in this live music tradition with recent acts including: Bill Bragg, Arrested Development, The Dirtbombs, John Foxx, DJ Baku, The Drones and The Audreys.
