Soul-A-Go-Go August!

Soul-A-Go-Go returns!

Need your soul and funk fix? Go Go returns to The Johnston on Saturday 7th August.

This month sees us load up the rooms with the finest record spinning talent we could muster.

Vince Peach is the man behind the longest running soul show in the world, Soul Time. If a record was released in the 60's, Vince has heard it and most likely owns it.

Pierre Baroni is one of the finest djs in Australia. An avid collector and music historian. Pierre hosts Soulgroove 66 every Saturday at 3pm.

Richie1250's blue suit and jaw-dropping dance moves are the stuff of Soul-A-Go-Go legend. If it's happened at Soul-A-Go-Go Richie has witnessed it. His sets are varied and always for the dancefloor. Check out Richie every friday on Stone Love.

This month sees us blood two Soul-A-Go-Go debutants in the soul room. First up is Junkyard host Garry Seven and secondly from the Badlands DJs, Oscar Perry.

The Funk room delivers a heavy hitting lineup that promises to have the place going silly.

DJ Manchild is Melbourne's bastion of funk and host of The Breakdown. With his roots in hip hop and turntablism Manchild knows how to start a party!

Miss Goldie is PBS' first lady of funk. Hailing from the very unfunky city of Sydney, Goldie has become one of Melbourne's most loved funk DJs. Get ready for some Boss Action!

Alex Dimitriades may be a globe-trotting actor known and beloved by all Australians, but what you may not know about him is he is one of the baddest funk DJs we've ever seen. Get down!

Mr Moonshine has been tearing Melbourne clubs apart for years. With roots in disco, hip hop and funk he knows how to make people move. Check out his side project, called um... The Psyde Projects.
