Nighthawks at the Diner was my first ever Tom Waits album and the beginning of a healthy TW obsession. You WILL hear a Tom Waits number EVERY week! You’ll hear up-and-comers, out-of-staters, local favourites and international stars: Mia Dyson, Kerri Simpson, Ray Beadle, Anders Osborne, Susan Tedeschi and Lyle Lovett for a taste. With a focus on “the voice” (no not John Farnham), you’ll hear some of the finest, velvety powerhouse vocalists in the known universe.
