Join us for a Studio One Special on Saturday October 14 at Jamaica Jump Up with live band the Jump Up Allstars.

Get down to the Gasometer Hotel and help us celebrate Coxanne Dodd and his fabled record label Studio One. Described as one of Jamaica's most renowned recording studios and the Motown of Jamaica, the major music movement covered the 1960s and 1970s ska, rocksteady, reggae, dub and dancehall sound.

Expect a live, red hot set from The Jump Up Allstars! Comprising a rolling line up the Allstars pull players from The Ska Vendors, The Moonhops, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Johnny Longshot and Shanty Town. You'll never see the same line up twice but the riddims served up are always smoking!

As always we've brought together the finest PBS selectors including Rick Howe (Riddim Yard), Miss Goldie (Boss Action), and Jesse I (Babylon Burning), as well as special guest selectors Coco Brown and Fabulous Fez. MC Kilmarnock Steve will keep things moving and grooving throughout the night.

Only $10 for PBS Members, and $15 for future members, tickets available on the door.
