Damnations Day

Damnations Day

Thursday 15 February 2018

Founded by brothers Mark (guitar and vocals) and Dean Kennedy (drums) back in 2012, Damnations Day grew to include Jon King (Lead guitar) and Luis Eguren (Bass) and they quickly released their debut album Invisible, the Dead to amazing reviews.

Off the back of Invisible, the Dead the band supported huge bands around Australia including Nightwish, Sybreed, Psycroptic, Black Majesty, Widow, King Parrot and Helloween as well as landing an impressive stint touring with ACCEPT on their Scandinavian/EU leg of the BLIND RAGE TOUR.

Teaming up with a new label, their second release A World Awakens screeched into the world March 2017 and was received with thundering applause. A World Awakens maintained the raw energy, power and integrity of their debut release with a focus on their musicianship and songwriting abilities. It’s an album that has your undivided attention on first listen, only to pull you in further and further on every repeat.

Listen back to Screaming Symphony for a live set from Damnations Day. Studio 5 Live is proudly brought to you by Mountain Goat.
