Melbourne’s afro hip hop veterans Cool Out Sun are a unique cross-cultural group spearheaded by Sierra-Leonean Australian MC N'fa Jones, and South African Australian Producer Sensible J. The group will drop the bustling, percussive and beautifully melodic LP A Lion Is a Lion on Friday October 4 through their own label, House Of Beige. Featuring an incredible line up of local guests, the LP includes collaborations with Sampa The Great, Immy Owusu, Lamine Sonko, Vida Sunshyne, Bilalli and more!

Since forming in 2012, five-piece UK jazz outfit Ezra Collective have blossomed into one of Britain’s most eclectic and acclaimed music acts. Their body of work has so far blended sounds that have defined contemporary London. By doing so, the group have become a reflection, as well as a product, of the rich array of music, cultures and people who have found their way to the city and made it their home.

Music in Exile is taking over the Thornbury Bowls Club on Sunday September 22 for ther biannual fundraiser; an afternoon and evening of music and food from all corners of the community.

The line up features Bouba's Drumming Picnic, Brown Suga Princess, Genki Tanaka, Queen of Hearts, 
Scott & Charlene's Wedding and Wrong Way Up.
