Formed in 2000 by guitarist Josh Middleton and bassist Carl Parnell, the British band Sylosis are returning to Australian shores for the first time in 12 years. After dropping a surprise EP late last year, the band are currently working on a new album set for release in 2025. The project draws on influences from Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, John Coltrane, and Miles Davis, featuring a wide repertoire of jazz and the aesthetics of the trio.
