Earlier this year, the iconic Kim Gordon released The Collective, the second solo studio album from the co-founder of Sonic Youth. The album achieved universal acclaim and was naturally PBS Feature Album upon its release. Hailed as the art star queen of New York cool, Gordon will perform this new album, and other works, at Northcote Theatre for two shows on July 24th and 25th. Ahead of these shows, she has a riveting chat with PBS's Kurt Eckardt that you can hear in full on Underground Love.

This year marks 30 years since the notorious Tasty Raid at the iconic 90s Queer nightclub. Dominic Flynn, a composer from Hobart, has studied with acclaimed Australian and British composers. His upcoming concert, 'Line Tracing,' is part of 'Tempo Queer 2024' at Tempo Rubato, showcasing local and international queer composers. Harakiri For The Sky are a post black metal band from Austria. Gold Coast musician, Lucas Stone, is currently holding down dual roles as a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for Gold Coast rockers Hammers and drum duties for blues funk trio Hot Cobra.
