To mark the 50th anniversary of Gram Parsons passing, PBS' Myles O'Neil-Shaw and Ben Mastwyk plus a huge array of local musicians are putting on a show called "20,000 Roads: A Gram Parsons Tribute" at The Brunswick Ballroom on September 17, celebrating the life and music of the Cosmic Cowboy. Myles and Ben call in to Swinging Doors to talk about Gram Parsons and then will be joined by Patrick Wilson and Hana Brenecki for a couple of Gram's tunes.

Impossible Visions is a showcase of music videos by Australian songwriters, featuring Freya Josephine Hollick, Dominic Byrne, Jessie Warren, Parvyn and James Marples. Shown on the big screen for the first time, these five videos feature contrasting visual genres and styles, from dystopian sci-fi and moody film-noir to gritty lo-fi esthetics. Song-writer James Marples joins Crispi to talk about the showcase happening at the Thornbury Picture House later on in the evening.

Representing two of history's most important bands Pink Floyd and Spandau Ballet, Nick Mason and Gary Kemp are in Melbourne to play at the Forum Theatre in September. Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets re-visits some of the most iconic works from Pink Floyd's catalogue from the perspective of the band's founding drummer and only constant member through a career of more than 50 years. Mason and touring guitarist Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet) join Crispi to share some musical history.

In September 2008, Zoë was driving her car when lightning struck the windscreen – then minutes later another strike hit the road in front of the bonnet. Six months later, lightning hit Zoë’s home while she was inside. Chamber Made Artistic Director Tamara Saulwick chats to Annika about the production.

Comprised of 17 improvisations that were originally recorded in 2021 as part of the score to the film Anonymous Club, Barnett returned to these tracks a year later, remixing, re-ordering and reframing them into a seamless meditative collage.
