Victoria’s favourite boutique festival, which is located in the picturesque mountain town of Marysville, has announced its first line up for 2023. Australian music queen Kate Ceberano and psych-folk storyteller William Crighton will be heading the line-up for the 2023 event, with many more artists to be announced for 3 nights and 2 days of something for everyone. Kate Ceberano calls in to Black Wax to talk about called the Marysville Music Festival from November 24-26.

Tune in to The Sound Barrier to hear double bassist Mark Cauvin and violone (baroque ancestor of the double bass) player Chloë Sobek perform a tribute to composer and double bassist Fernando Grillo on the tenth anniversary of his death. Mark will also talk about his years as friend, student, and dedicatee of Fernando Grillo who Karlheinz Stockhausen once called “the Buddha of the bass."

‘The Same Cave’ is Pascal Babare’s 5th LP, and his first solo departure from folk songs into electronic music.
