The Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society and PBS proudly present the 2013 Blues Challenge and entries are now open for submissions!
The aim of the Blues Challenge is to find the best possible blues bands and artists to represent the MBAS and Australia in Memphis, Tennessee at the International Blues Challenge in January 2014. Not only will the winners be flown to Memphis for the competition and set up with accommodation, they’ll also be awarded with $1000 cash money!
Previous winners include Jimi Hocking, Collard Greens & Gravy, Geoff Achison, Sweet Felicia and the Honeytones and most recently, Andrea Marr Band.
If you’re a blues performer or part of a blues act, enter now at www.mbas.org.au – entries close on Tuesday, September 17. The finals will be held at the Greyhound Hotel in St Kilda on Sunday, 27th October.
