As the year gets rolling, PBS is thrilled to announce the new team for The Breakfast Spread for 2014. Begin the day in fine musical company with Crispi and new kid on the block Cat every weekday from 6- 9am.
Cat has an extensive background in radio and is no stranger to the morning shift, having presented breakfast radio with ABC local radio in Gippsland for much of the last 18 months. For Cat it’s always been about the music. Swapping from rural reports about broccoli and unseasonal weather to 15 hours a week of alternative music is a shift that represents somewhat of a homecoming!
As the longest serving Breakfast Spread host since the program began over a decade ago, listeners will be familiar with Crispi’s eclectic rock and indie stylings, laced with dabbles in soul, funk, country, folk and jazz.
Joining Cat and Crispi will be all the regular guests and segments you’ve come to expect. Brand New Bag, State of the Art, The Slab, Musical Chairs and The Wheels of Steel will all be back from the 28th of January and of course the show will feature the most eclectic mix of specialist music on radio anywhere in the known universe.
