The Australian Jazz Awards are informally known as ‘the Bells’ in honour of one of the greats of Australian Jazz, Mr Graeme Bell MBE AO.
Opened to the public, this is an Industry night that recognises the best achievements of Australian Musician for the past year. There are 8 Award categories the most prestigious being the Hall Of Fame. Past inductees include Mike Nock, James Morrison, Graeme Lyall to name a few.
The event includes a 3 course meal. Winners when available come to receive their Award and usually perform with the house band. It is a great night of entertainment. This is the 14th consecutive year for the Australian Jazz Bell Awards which have grown in popularity and prestige since their inception in 2003.
This year the Awards will be attended by both national and international Jazz Artists.
