Once again, a pool of A$100,000 is on offer for the creation of new commissioned work that is innovative, displays professional compositional craft and represents a benchmark of excellence in its field.
The work must have committed partners to ensure it is presented multiple times, and it is expected that composers will collaborate with ensembles, orchestras, producers, record companies, broadcasters, festivals and other parties to propose the writing of the work.

Now in its third year, the Art Music Fund has already provided grants to 21 Australasian composers including Liza Lim, Sandy Evans, Cat Hope (pictured), Erkki Veltheim, Newton Armstrong, and Eve Klein.
