What began as a solo project by Valak in 2011, with the release of the 6 track digital demo, Legendary, Demonic & Invincible'. AK-11 are fast becoming a reputable act in the underground black metal scene, performing their blend of triumphant, raw pagan black metal at an unforgiving pace and style.
Based in Melbourne (Australia), 2014 has so far seen the launch of the debut album, “Once Upon A Time In Europa” and the first international shows in Europe during May and June.
“Once Upon A Time In Europa” was professionally recorded at Three Phase Recording Studios with Valak (vox, bass), Morturus (drums) and Davdarreth (guitars) featuring logo and artwork by legendary German artist Joachim Luetke, who has also designed artwork for bands such as Kreator,
Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir.
