Garage Band is an initiative co-presented with JOF, Fed Square and Bunjil Place that celebrates and spotlights emerging Victorian talent. Part of ALWAYS LIVE, Garage Band features up to 30 young bands between 16 - 21 performing live at Fed Square in front of friends, family, industry and live-music lovers alike in what is largely the first opportunity for these artists to take their music to the next level.
Artists are chosen following an EOI and Info Session process that encourages up-and-coming bands from around the state to submit their music and stories. In 2024 this will be extended to five live performances at Bunjil Place in Narre Warren.
