Bluesfest 2017 is shaping up to be one of the greatest yet! Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bonnie Raitt is more than a best-selling artist, respected guitarist, expressive singer and accomplished songwriter. She has become an institution in American Music.
Rhiannon Giddens – 11 April Corner Hotel

Bluesfest favourite Trombone Shorty is bringing his energetic fusion of funk/rock/jazz/hip-hop to back to Australia.

Turin Brakes will celebrate their Bluesfest debut in 2017, showcasing the band’s latest work from their seventh studio album Lost Property released in January 2016. One of the finest indie bands of the last decade Turin Brakes are still going strong after 16 years.
Gallant - 17 April Corner Hotel
Bluesfest is thrilled to announce Gallant will visit Melbourne and Sydney after making his Australian debut at the Byron Bay festival in 2017. Named by Billboard as the #1 performance of Coachella in 2016, Gallant has garnered accolades for his exceptional voice from artists like Elton John, John Legend, and Seal.
Corinne Bailey Rae - 19 April 170 Russell
With over five million albums sold, two-time Grammy winner Bailey Rae released her self-titled debut album in 2006, reaching number one in the UK and number four in the U.S. The album featured the global hits ‘Put Your Records On’ and ‘Like A Star’.
St Paul & the Broken Bones - 20 April 170 Russell
The St Paul & The Broken Bones sound can be described as a blazing mating of ‘60s soul fire – daubed with latter-day influences like Sly Stone, David Bowie, and Prince, that is centered around vocalist Paul Janeway’s impassioned singing and writing, along with the band’s brawny horn-driven sound.
