The Braves have gained notoriety gigging every corner of Melbourne, from the art scene to the pub scene and everywhere in between.
Tired of the consumer ideals that surround them, the 'me me me' attitude of the music scene and the regurgitated sounds of commercial radio, The Braves set out to do something apart from the crowd.
Their debut album,South Paw Product, was recorded in the industrial estates and factory district of a broken town, through DAT tape machines and bygone technology with a mad man at the helm.
The songs throw down a raw and honest urgency, capturing the energy of their chaotic live set. They'll launch South Paw Product at Yah Yah's on Saturday, October 25th.
