Melbourne music lovers gather round, its time to help a local live music institution and have a rad night at the same time with The Brunswick Hotel Presents: Flood Aid.
In case you missed it, a driver ran into a fire hydrant in front of the Brunswick Hotel, soaking the floors, destroying everything inside and forcing the venue to close its doors indefinitely.
The owners aren’t giving up that easy though, organising a massive fundraiser at the nearby Rubix Warehouse, featuring Flyying Colours, China Beach and Two Headed Dog, plus The FckUps, Australian Kingswood Factory, The Balls, Three Quarter Beast, Palmerslum Giant and Mojo Pin.
Remodelling is already underway with the help of insurance but the unexpected closure has put pressure on the bar staff, sound engineers, bussies and security guards that work tirelessly for the venue.
As such, funds raised from the event will go to the recently unemployed staff of the Brunswick Hotel.
