It is with great pleasure that we revisit the stunning live session Coda Chroma played on The Afterglow in 2020.
The alias of Melbourne-based musician Kate Lucas, Coda Chroma, performs songs that are drawn from personal dreamscapes and real-life encounters, delivering poetic honesty, with a nostalgia for the unknown.
And that’s excatly how Kate Lucas does things, she recalls how she felt on the day of the performance:"I felt very nervous to perform that day - we had a brand-new drummer who was learning the parts up to the day of the set (mind you she played brilliantly and really nailed it), so my brain was being a pain and overthinking things. But the main thoughts for the day I had were on how supported I feel by peebs and how lucky Melbourne is to have such an incredible community broadcaster!"
