On Wednesday, 13th March, PBS will be joining other community stations across Australia for a national day of programming and we're welcoming our listeners to come into the station and get involved.
The future of free-to-air broadcasting is digital, but for community radio stations like PBS, that future is now at risk. Unless the federal government commits to giving digital radio a future in the upcoming budget, vital community stations around the country will be switched off – that’s why we need your help.
On Wednesday, 13th March, PBS will be joining other community stations across Australia for a national day of programming to highlight the issue. We’ll have a heap of very special on air guests, a BBQ out the front for those who want to pop on down and petitions in place for you to sign when you arrive.
Tune in or come down to PBS in person to get involved and sign the petition or join the campaign online at www.committocommunityradio.org.au
