The Australia-Cuba Friendship Society invites you to celebrate Cuba's National Day and help us raise funds for projects for Cuba on Sunday July 21st. You’re invited to a Sunday afternoon celebration where you can enjoy a live performance from the Conch, a 10 piece Melbourne band who play a dynamic mix of reggae, Latin, funk and swing and also enjoy our empanadas and red wine. The Conch will present compositions dedicated to Cuba, Venezuela and other parts of Latin America.
If you’d like to dance for Cuba come down to the Maritime Union building at 54 Ireland Street, West Melbourne on Sunday July 21st from 2 - 5pm. We’re charging $10 for those who are unwaged and $20 for the waged. Tickets available at the door.
