Psychotic Turnbuckles were one of the more interesting bands to come out of Sydney's rock scene in the 1980's. Originally from Pismo Beach in California, starting out as Wrestlers (!), the band relocated to Australia where many of their musical heroes (such as The Aztecs. Master's Apprentices and Radio Birdman) came from. Their garage rock style merged well with the burgeoning Sydney rock scene and they quickly started releasing records. This 2 cd compilation contains many of their early recordings including the 'Destroy Dull City' EP, their first full length album 'Beyond The Flipout' and several singles. There's also album outakes, bootleg live tracks and a whole heap more. If you love your dirty rock and roll and are unfamiliar with the Turnbuckles, this is a great place to start!
