Fresh off the back of the inaugural Shadow Electric Open Air Cinema season, TSE is proud to present Le Tour de France in cooperation with PBS106.7 FM, Moritz, Xanadu Wines and Nest Coworking.
Thornbury’s newest creative space will lend itself as a cozy pop up bar for the length of the 2012 Le Tour de France Season.
Jay Rayner founder of The Shadow Electric said “The idea of creating a warm, social environment for the many of us that stay up late to watch this ridiculous race is something we have been trying to put together for a few years now.” “With a focus on drinking wine and keeping warm, Domestique will exist as a sports bar for people who like bars more than sport."
In addition to screening Le Tour de France Domestique will provide late night cheese, olives, breads, dips as well as a quality beer and wine selection. Indoor bicycle parking will be catered for with the installation of 24 bicycle racks installed specifically for Domestique.
Commencing Thursday July 5th, the tour will be presented each Thursday through Sunday concluding on July 22nd.
Screenings will cover all mountain stages and the ever important time trials. Each night the bar, will open from 6pm with music and film to keep things warm before the race.
Boasting a large indoor screen, HD projection, gas heating and a late night licence. Domestique will be the Northside’s true late night destination this winter.
