It's live, it’s local, and it’s coming out of your radio. PBS’ Drive Live is taking over the airwaves for a full week from Monday February 4th to Friday the 8th during drivetime, 5-7pm.
Starting off the week, we’ll be soothing your Monday with some dreamy pop with a side of dancing on Against The Tide with Monica. The charming and talented Pikelet will be warming everyone up first off with some sweet pop tunes followed up by The Townhouses, with some hazy ambient soundscapes.
Capping off proceedings will be rhythmic dance floor masters, No Zu. Full of energy and interesting mashes of percussion, brass and awesomeness, No Zu are guaranteed to end your Monday in the best mood possible, plus to make the whole afternoon even more tasty, The Beatbox Kitchen will be setting up shop out in the PBS car park - sensory overload guaranteed!
PBS listeners, if you’re interested in getting in on the action during live music week then all you have to do is let us know! You and a friend can come down to any (or all!) of the sessions during the week to see your favourite bands playing in the studios, but RSVPs are essential!
