Thursday, live on Fang It! w/ Bob Log III, The Murlocs and Brat Farrar, plus a special visit from the famous Taco Truck in the PBS carpark!
It's live, it’s local, and it’s coming out of your radio. PBS’ Drive Live is taking over the airwaves for a full week from Monday February 6th to Friday the 10th during drivetime, 5-7pm.
What can be said about Bob Log III? This crazy Arizona local wears a full body human cannonball suit, and a pilot's helmet wired to a telephone receiver, which allows him to devote his hands and feet to guitar and drums. The spectacle has been described as a guitar dance party. Geelong ragamuffins The Murlocs will bring their desert-blues harmonica soaked racket the mix and Brat Farrar joins in too, taking his DIY approach to the ultimate level with tunes that sound like they were recorded in 1979 over a cassette version of the first Wipers record. We’ll also be joined by the infamous Taco Truck, right in the PBS car park! Yummy!
PBS listeners, if you’re interested in getting in on the action during live music week then all you have to do is let us know! You and a friend can come down to any (or all!) of the sessions during the week to see your favourite bands playing in the studios, but RSVPs are essential!
Send us an email at events@pbsfm.org.au with the subject line: NIGHT (Monday, Tuesday) plus YOUR NAME and we’ll put your name on the door with a plus one.
