Following the release of supergroup Dyson Stringer Cloher's debut EP in 2013 Jen Cloher, Mia Dyson and Liz Stringer played over 40 shows across every state and territory in Australia, making appearances at Byron Bay Bluesfest and Queenscliff Music Festival. Now these exceptional songwriters have brought the band back together for the release of their new self-titled album. As they kick off their upcoming tour, they join us for a Studio 5 Live session on Homebrew, Monday November 4.
As solo artists Dyson, Stringer and Cloher have had critically acclaimed careers, released a total of six studio albums and toured globally. Driven by fond memories of their time together as a band – and the possibility of creating a stand-out studio album – these talented, inspired musicians have come together again to produce a distinct, heartfelt and genuine record. Together and individually, Dyson, Stringer and Cloher continue to be inspirational trailblazers.
