Gospel tunes, hard swinging grooves, wholesome sound and wailing blues solos. The unmistakable tone of the Hammond Organ is the centrepiece of a long standing tradition in rhythm and blues, and this band is no exception. Featuring the talented Olaf Scott behind the keys, the Southside Hammond Combo play both original and classic soul and gospel flavoured tunes taking their inspiration from Ray Charles, King Curtis, Aretha Franklin and of course the one and only Jimmy Smith.
