Celebrating arts and culture from new, emerging and Indigenous communities in Melbourne’s outer north, the Emerge in the North 2018 runs over 9 days in venues across the north, from Broadmeadows to Epping, Thomastown to Coburg.
Opening June 22 with the Arts & Craft Exhibition at Epping Community Services Hub, the Festival is a remarkable opportunity to discover the incredible and diverse cultures and talent that lives in the north.
Comedy storytelling, Turkish marbling art workshops, artist talks, new musical collaborations, a youth film competition, art exhibitions, and a closing concert of cultural displays, food, workshops, music and dance – there’s something for everyone and it’s all free!
