This week’s PBS Feature Album is Erin Rae's sophomore release titled Lighten Up.
Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album Putting On Airs three years ago, Lighten Up represents a sonic shift for Nashville born-and-raised Erin Rae with flourishes of baroque-pop, cosmic country and indie-folk.
Described by Rolling Stone as "one of Nashville's finest folkies" and Kevin Morby "honoured to share some sonic space with Erin", there is no doubt there is something special to be discovered in Rae's music.
Lighten Up is out now via Thirty Tigers/Cooking Vinyl.
Tune in to PBS all this week to hear tracks from the album, and PBS Members have the chance to win a copy of the record via Tuesday’s e-newsletter. Not a member? Join now!
