You may have noticed that in recent times PBS has changed the way we focus on Feature recordings. This year we’ll be featuring five different recordings each and every week. Some of those will still be given away to PBS members, while others will be featured simply because we think they are pretty damn special.
If you go to the PBS website you’ll see all 5 Features listed each week down the left hand side of the home page. Click on the link and you’ll have the chance to read reviews written by your favourite PBS volunteer. We reckon this is so much better than just re-hashing a media release or copying the back of the CD cover.
Of course the best thing about PBS Features is that you can hear them on air across all sorts of programs. Nothing is too obscure and nothing is off limits. This new approach to Features also allows PBS to feature digital releases, vinyl and even some exclusive PBS recordings.
