According to a 2021 study, one farmer completes suicide every ten days - that's 59% higher than the rate among non-farmers.
Flanno For A Farmer aims to get as many people as possible to don their flanno on August 23, and to donate a little if they can. Funds raised helps organisation Farm Angels continue to get out there and knock on doors, just to chat to our farmers doing it tough, and making sure they know they’re not forgotten. Farm Angels also offers financial support where and when they can to get farmers through times of disaster.
