by Mia Dyson
After a long gap between albums which included a move to America, Mia Dyson finally reappeared in 2012 with The Moment. The album heralded a lot of notice both in the US and Australia. Now, after an Aussie tour with her mates Liz Stringer and Jen Cloher (as Dyson Stringer Cloher) she's back after a comparatively short gap between albums with Idyllwild. This album is a little different, featuring a less produced sound which makes it warmer. Less punchy perhaps but i think this is a better album with some really strong songs including Growing Up, When We're Older and a reworked version of the DSC track Crazy Horse which is slower but just as great. If you're a Mia Dyson fan or even if you're not, Idyllwild is definitely worth checking out!
