The Jamaican Music and Food Festival returns to Seaworks Maritime Precinct, Williamstown on Saturday December 7, 2024.
Reggae legends and rising stars from Victoria and around the world will come together for the premier celebration of Jamaican music, performance art, street food and culture in one exciting afternoon. Four stages will deliver a world-class dose of the best reggae, dancehall, ska, roots, and dub across eight hours of family-friendly entertainment.
The festival will once again present a talent-rich lineup of live international and local musicians and DJs including headline acts Anthony B (JA) DJ Banna (JA) Flames Eye (JA) and Fitzroy Lee (JA).The rest of the stacked lineup includes Ras Jahknow Band, Gaia The Band, Lioness Order, Skabhangers, Goody’s Hi Fi, Heartical Hi Powa, Housewife’s Choice Sound System, Adrians Wall, Anitra, Bellyas, Dub Koala, Dub Dahlia, Miss Fee, Mohair Slim, King Ru, Queen Big Punch (NZ), Rudi Sound, DJ Dazz, DJ Banna (JA), Rick Howe and more TBA!
Food is a big part of the Jamaican culture and this year there will be an abondance of mouthwatering dishes available for over 20 food vendors. There will be a dedicated children's area with face-painting, a magic show and live interactive African drumming.
