This week on Jay’s arts and Community news, come down to Abbotsford Convent for the 3MBS Music & Book Fair, this Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th of November. Thousands of CDs spanning a broad range of genres, and the breadth of vinyl on offer is even more impressive.

Also this Saturday the 29th of November at Deakin Edge, Northern College of the Arts & Technology and PBS presents the 2014 Makers and Players guitar expo.
Browse over 50 handmade guitars from established makers and graduating students, and take in a range of demonstrations on instrument set up and neck shaping as well as live performances and workshops throughout the day.
There will be performances by Rebecca Barnard & The Rockwhiz Orchestra, Hetty Kate & James Sherlock and Steve O’Hern.
