At PBS, our announcers might sound cool, but in summer, our studios are so hot you can fry an egg on the turntables.
This summer, we’re asking our listeners to join with us and Make A Sound Investment. You can ease the heat and help update our modest facilities with new gear and air-conditioning.
Our Studio 5 Live performance space has served us well, but we now need to upgrade
the mixing desk, and we need an extra studio so that we can improve our capacity for
things like interviews, editing and training.
This means better broadcasting, better listening, and more support for our music community.
This week brings our tally to over $44,000 and our target is $75,000 -we are about 60% of the way there!
