Mallard Movies is back, this time with a FREE screening of the documentary Garage Rockin' Craze; an exploration of the underground garage rock scene in Japan.
Hosted by PBS FM’s Matt McFetridge (Twistin' Fever), hear some of Matt’s favourite tracks over dinner and drinks from 7pm, before a brief introduction at 8:20pm and screening at 8:30pm.

Garage Rockin' Craze documents the story of underground Tokyo rock and roll. Focusing on the infamous organizer and DJ Daddy-O-Nov and his exploits, the film delves into the nature of Daddy-O's work keeping the DIY rock scene alive and kicking in Japan. The film introduces key players and bands in the scene, telling the story of Daddy-O and the history of Tokyo garage punk from the people who were there for its inception before moving on to show how it has progressed. 120% Primitive Rockin'.
