Launching their second album DESENSITIZED, DARKER HALF’s duelling twin axe attack and screaming metal vocals draw incredible influences from all sides of metal from the traditional to the thrash to the melodic. With supports including QUEENSRYCHE and PAUL D’ANNO and an explosive performance at Sydney’s SCREAMFEST, 2011 is the year to make their mark on Australia’s local live metal scene. Prepare for one of the most diverse power/thrash metal performances this country has to offer.
Supporting DARKER HALF is long time Melbourne (mostly) thrash band PRAETORIAN. PRAETORIAN’s return to the metal scene has been a long time coming but after two albums (Threnody and Crushing Torment) and time spent blooding new members, PRAETORIAN’s genre defying sound of thrash, death, melodic, and doom will impress anybody looking for a new experience from experienced hands.
