Dedicated to her late father, artist Charles Blackman, Mica the Star Sailor is a powerful testament to the close relationship Bertie had with her father, who always encouraged her creativity, curiousity and wonder.
Mica the Star Sailor is also an expression of longing for the magical time Bertie had with her father when she was young.
