A visionary pianist, composer and musical thinker, GRAMMY nominee Vijay Iyer’s creative work spans the arts, the humanities and the sciences, dissolving boundaries between jazz, classical music, hip-hop, funk and electronica. Drawing on a world history of groove, music from his genre-mashing trio is sketched with rhythmic ideas from Indian folk to African beats to electronic dance.
