This week’s PBS Feature Album is Outright's new LP, Keep You Warm. Since their formation in 2010, Naarm-based feminist hardcore 5-piece Outright’s presence and impact has become a force driven by their energy, ethics and community spirit.
Their eagerly awaited new LP, Keep You Warm, follows the band’s oeuvre of penning songs packed with nuanced lyrics and powerful declarations while delivering new musical heights and range. Written between twelve months of multiple lockdowns and gig cancellations, Keep You Warm addresses topics like accountability, decolonisation, climate change and mental health.
Ferocious, unapologetic and entirely uncompromising, Keep You Warm is a record that proves Outright's refusal to remain quiet when it comes to crucial social issues and reinforces the band as a commanding force and vital voice in the heavy music space.
Tune in to PBS all this week to hear tracks from Keep You Warm, which is out now. PBS Members have the chance to win a copy of the album on vinyl via this Tuesday's e-newsletter so make sure you check your inbox! Please note that winners will need to pick up their LP from our Collingwood studios.
