I recently stumbled across a new gem at the State Library of Victoria called Inspiration by Design. The gallery features art, graphics, photography and illustrated works the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. It includes over 100 treasures including original hand-drawn illustrations from Beatrix Potter, a Pablo Picasso artist book and fashion sketches from Dior and Comme des Garçons to suit everyone’s tastes. The event is a free exhibition located in the Keith Murdoch Gallery from 10am to 5pm and 9pm on Thursdays and will be running through until June!
