Congratulations to Judge Pino & The Ruling Motions who won our February Band Drive! The band has won 10 slabs of Coopers Green, a day in Studio 5 with a professional engineer and a free on-air campaign with PBS.
Judge Pino & The Ruling Motions is a living tribute to the greats of 1970's Jamaican reggae. Whilst versioning classic 1970's lover's rock, dancehall and rockers reggae tunes, they create a retro-phonic space filled with sound that will move every body into dancing joy. Melbourne reggae and rocksteady veterans, Rodrigo and Jamie (both former Moonhops) formed The Ruling Motions in early 2010. The band made ties with Gareth on guitar, Jarrit on bass and Steve on drums. This band is up and running and active on the scene!
