Port Fairy Folk Festival extends its line-up with another 15 artists joining the seaside celebration, taking place in two months’ time across the March long weekend.
This Fourth announcement includes legendary 1970s US star TODD RUNDGREN, stalwarts of the Australian music industry VIKA AND LINDA and TROY CASSAR-DALEY, Australiana singer and storyteller Watty Thompson and his band; Kenyan-born soul-infused R&B artist ELSY WAMEYO; country-folk troubadour FELICITY DOWD; joyful bluegrass ensemble THE HIGH STREET DRIFTERS; RAY DIMAKARRI DIXON who performs in Mudburra, one of the world’s oldest languages; and newcomers MULGA BORE HARD ROCK from the remote central Australian desert community of Akaye.Returning to the Festival are neo-soul pop star KEE’AHN, blues great JIMI HOCKING, Surf Coast-based folk diviner LEAH SENIOR, and the seaside event welcomes back popular Canadian folk singer-songwriter DAVID FRANCEY.
