For one day only, across two glorious stages at the Preston-Reservoir Bowls Club, over 15 of Reservoir’s best local bands, dance troupes, poets and performers will throw down sounds that get the whole of Melbourne’s inner north rocking.
The brainchild of PBS’s Emma Peel (Switched On) and her partner Danny Walsh – both proud “Rezza” residents – the Reservoir Stomp is an event run by locals for locals….and anyone else that’s ever been too afraid to venture beyond Bell Street to attend a gig.
Here’s who’s coming to play the Bowl-o in 2018:
Australian rock icon ADALITA, purveyors of afro-beat PUBLIC OPINION AFRO ORCHESTRA, glitter disco divas SUGAR FED LEOPARDS, revered Indigenous singer/songwriter KUTCHA EDWARDS, full-bore rock’n’rollers DRAUGHT DODGERS (featuring Tim Rogers, You Am I), 15-piece swingin’ girl group THE REBELLES, new jack swing and funk jammers WOLF LADIES (AKA THE WOLFGRAMM SISTERS), bold and reckless songwriter CAT CANTERI, and country music duo SMALL TOWN ROMANCE.
PLUS: The Spoils, Miserable Little Bastards, Kiddyrock, Outer Urban Performing Arts Crew, Barry Dickins, Dear Matilda, Rezza West Primary School Rockers, Paddy Montgomery's Greek Group, MC Emma Peel and more!
And if that’s not enough to put the sizzle in your BBQ, this year the Stomp will also host the inaugural Rezza Record Fair, featuring a whole heap of local record vendors, barefoot bowls comps, food trucks a-plenty and great community vibes.
