Five-piece Melbourne band Riflebirds join us for Studio 5 Live ahead of launching their third album Ain't Ever Going Home at The Labour In Vain, Saturday October 13 at 7.30pm.
The band have had a busy schedule lately, bringing their energy-charged sounds to a slew of festivals, bars and pubs across the land.
The new album has seen the band move into new territory, stepping up the tempo and bringing the energy of their live show to the recording studio.
From Brunswick to Ballarat to Byron Bay, the band have played at some of the best-known live music venues and festivals in Australia. Recent festival appearances include NightJar, Leaps & Bounds, Darebin Music Feast, Spring Fling and Ballarat Beer Festival – and you’ll often see them on the bill at Melbourne’s legendary live venues such as The Labour In Vain, The Retreat or The Rainbow.
