We are very pleased to announce the next Rock-A-Bye Baby session on Thursday, February 2 with Melbourne’s high priestess of soul, Kylie Auldist.
Kylie Auldist is at centre stage of the funk, soul and disco scene in Australia and is the voice of the 2016 European summer smash hit ‘This Girl’ by Kungs vs Cookin’ on 3 Burners. In November 2016 she took out the award for Best Album in the funk/soul category at The Age Music Victoria Awards. Described by The Music Magazine “Melbourne’s high priestess of soul”, her critically acclaimed fourth album Family Tree combines her love of contemporary Electronic Dance Music with influences from the hedonistic, golden age of Disco, Funk and Boogie. She possesses a voice that can run the gamut from soaring vocal pyrotechnics to heart-wrenching tenderness. Her energy on stage is absolutely electric with a huge dose of boogie power.
PBS’ Rock-A-Bye-Baby Sessions are for adults and kids alike and feature artists from all genres and cultures. It’s our way of helping breed the next generation of punters in music-mad Melbourne.
Rock-A-Bye Baby is a no-frills, daytime show for families of all ages and your chance to see a real band without fear of sugary drinks or costumed characters.
PBS’ Rock-A-Bye-Baby music sessions welcome noise, encourage crawling and expect dancing!
