PBS 106.7FM is proud to present the return of the Rock-A-Bye Baby Music Sessions, kicking off this year’s bi-monthly season with Latin / Reggae band, Madre Monte.
After a hugely successful run in 2010, PBS is delighted to be working in conjunction with the City of Yarra to present the Rock-a-Bye Baby Music Sessions more frequently in 2011. These concerts are a great way for carers to share their love of music with children in a safe environment. The music isn’t dumbed-down or sugared-up!
Madre Monte mix Latin and Colombian rhythms, specifically Cumbia with Reggae. Drums, trumpet, percussion, guitars and other instruments like saxophone and trombone have become elements of what Madre Monte is today.
Noise is welcomed, crawling is encouraged and dancing is expected!
