The next Rock-A-Bye Baby session features Fruit Jar; a five-piece old time string band comprising of banjo, two violins, guitar and bass. The band has been playing its rollicking, hypnotic style of old time American country dance music around Melbourne for the last five years.
Rock-A-Bye-Baby is a gig-going experience for adults and children where the music hasn’t been dumbed down or sugar-coated. It’s a no-frills, daytime show offering a unique chance for families of all ages to watch a real band in a safe, commercial-free setting.
Now in its fifth consecutive year, PBS’ Rock-A-Bye-Baby Music Sessions welcome noise, encourage crawling and expect dancing! Join the riff raff for announcements on Facebook.
